1. Acceptance
By using this site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
Secret Santa is a free tool that decides who gives a gift to whom and creates a private link for each participant. There is no sign-up and no user account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service lawfully. You must not:
- enter other people's personal data without their knowledge or consent to take part;
- try to overload, attack or reverse engineer the service;
- use the service in an automated way at abusive volume (use by AI agents through MCP is allowed within reasonable limits).
4. Links and confidentiality
Each link reveals who a person must give a gift to. Anyone holding the link can see that information. The organiser is responsible for sending each link only to the matching participant.
Because nothing is stored, links cannot be recovered, resent or revoked by us. Running a new draw creates new links and does not invalidate the earlier ones.
5. Availability and warranties
The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability or of being error-free. Keep your links safe: we cannot recover them.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost links or any misuse of links by the people who receive them. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.
7. Intellectual property
The name, design, texts and illustrations of the site belong to their respective owners. The names you type remain yours.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. The last-updated date is shown at the top of the page; continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. For consumers, mandatory rights under the law of their EU country of habitual residence are preserved.
